Named for Enzo Ferraris son, Dino who passed at the age of 24, the Dino was, fittingly, a ′baby′ Ferrari that was proportionately smaller and more agile than any other street Ferrari.

Corresponding to the Maranello Concessionaires Archive certificate, this Ferrari Dino 246 GT was delivered new to motor dealership franchise owner Edward Harrison of Sheffield, England on the 13th of September 1972. Exported to San Jose, California in the 1990′s under the ownership of Mr. Ferguson this Dino eventually made its way to Australia in April of 2000 where it has remained ever since.

Ordered in right hand drive with light red exterior, black interior and power windows this matching numbers Dino carries an intoxicating road presence. Professionally restored, this largely original example has been well maintained since new, visible within the pristine condition of the original leather wrapped steering wheel, indicator stalks and a very clean undercarriage. This example has also undergone a recent major service from one of Australias leading Ferrari mechanics that included the replacement of all drive belts.

Both exterior and interior Chrome work is in fantastic condition, the original glass is still present and the interior leathers, carpets and dash componentry are unblemished. The original wheels are wrapped in brand new period spec Michelin tyres sourced at great expense and the overall fit and finish of all body panelling is excellent.

Accompanying this Dino 246 GT is the complete original leather tool kit and an incredibly detailed history file that includes; Maranello Concessionaires material confirming the cars originality, the original owners manual, first UK registration document from 1972, purchase and delivery certificates, letters from the original owner to Ferrari, Californian Title Certificates and the Australian Import approval letters.

Seated within the cockpit and peering over two prominently curved fenders is perhaps the most evocative road going drivers seat view ever produced. This unique Dino 246 GT delivers that experience unequivocally with an agile steering feel and a fantastic engine note as well.

A rare opportunity to purchase an early Ferrari Dino 246 GT with extensive and unique provenance and in beautiful and very original condition.
