The Porsche 356 A model was launched to the public at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 1955 and was available in 60 bhp and super 75 bhp configuration.
It might not sound like much today but the light little German cars had adequate torque and a healthy top speed of 99 mph!!
This car was built on the 20th Janary 1959 and delivered to the importer Hamiltons of Melbourne with options of Bosch headlights, green tint windscreen and USA spec bars.
With a large history file accompanying the car it is packed full with invoices showing the regular maintenance and care taken to preserve this stunning little 356 as well as a copy of the original build sheet confirming its matching numbers and Australian delivery.
Finished in the stunning Bronze Metallic paint with tan leather and super rare Porsche Derrington wheel this 356 is an absolute joy to drive with brisk acceleration good brakes and sweet gearchange.
For less than the price of a second hand Boxster you could be driving one of the coolest cars in town… with the nice feeling of not being in a depreciating modern car.
